Hickory Log Options

Old Hickory offers two standard bark options for the hickory saplings on our hickory log furniture. Regular Bark is the more natural look, with most of the bark remaining on the hickory sapling. Regular Bark is lightly sanded removing any loose or sharp areas on the bark leaving a natural looking texture. The Tahoe Bark texture is heavily sanded which exposes some of the inner core and cambium areas of the hickory sapling. The Tahoe Bark texture is a smoother finish and has more variation in colors and texture. Any of our stains can be applied to either hickory bark texture.
